現地の人や外からの人にとっても父のような存在で、精神的にもみんなを支えてきた。過酷な状況の元でも彼のユーモアで助けられた人も多かったことでしょう。
もっといろいろなことを一緒に話したかった。
でもきっと、最後の最後まで働き続けてきたあなたを神様は休ませるために天国に導いたのでしょう。
ハリーと出会えたことに感謝し、しっかりと意志を受け継いでいくことが私達にできること。

Since this summer pianopiano bags have joined the family tree.
Family tree is in Exmouth street where you can find enchanting unique cafes and restaurants, and a nice hair salon called The Klinic.
In family tree, products are available based on British designs but inspired from the global community including America, India, African, Scandinavia & Japan.
The shops owner, Takako considers the story behind each product as well as the design and production through ethical means. That is the same direction as PIANOPIANO. Even within this small space the world of ethical designed products will make you feel in touch with the world.
You will find nice and warm winter goods such as the gloves which you can use with smart phones or tablets; for children there are lovely goods, all of them will make you warm and happy. There are plenty of ideas for your Christmas shopping.

Now we have made a better safe energy as well as we can for now.
In London the rental cycle has taken root gradually. Recently we can see various types of bicycle around the city.
In Japan cyclist ride with the pedestrians on the pavement (or sidewalk). Anyway when I cycle in London, I feel that I have to be serious about riding a bicycle and have to be aware or clothes as well. Back in Japan people wear their everyday clothes.
At pianopiano we have made an effort to design a Messenger bag. We didn’t have a pre designed pattern for it, so the tailors and I made a sample many times over. I especially appreciate Charles,Issa and Mercy who are the lead tailor and design in the team.
This bag is called “the Messenger bag” but a message is on the bag for the car drivers.

Actually in Italy you can find the sign on the road for the drivers safety.
エネルギーセイブを提唱することが常になっていますね。
ロンドンでも、自転車愛好家のボリソン市長が奨励して、レンタル自転車の設置がだいぶ定着してきました。 そして、自転車も、いろいろなデザインがでてきました。
私の自転車は超がつくほどの古い、いい言い方をすればアンティークの自転車です。多分１９６０年代の自転車だと思われます。 御老夫婦が譲ってくれた自転車です。 乗っていると、タクシーの運転手のおじさんが、窓を開けて「古いいい自転車だね」と親指を立ててくれたり、「こんな古い自転車で来たの？」と友達に言われたり、と個性のある自転車です。ギアもない古い自転車ですが、それなりにロンドンでサイクリングを楽しんでいます。
さて、ロンドンでは、車と同じレーンを自転車も乗らなければなりません。 乗り始めたころ、日本の感覚で歩行者道路で自転車に乗っていたら、杖をついたおばあさんにすっごく怒られたことがあります。
自転車と、車が同じレーンを走る。 それは、もう競輪選手なみに、真剣に運転しなければなりません。 日本のママチャリ感覚で乗っていれば、もうアウトです。 スカートで乗っている人も少ないし、ヘルメットをかぶっていないと、危ないよとよく言われます。 スタイル重視の日本とは違って、ヨーロッパは、足に地をつけた自分の身の守り方をするのだと、文化の違いを感じたものです。
さて、この夏 マラウイのワークショップでPIANOPIANOが一番力を入れたものは、メッセンジャーバックでした。
型紙もなく始まった、このメッセンジャーバック作り。
今は、サイクリストのためのメッセンジャーバックというのは、定着しつつありますが、PIANOPIANOのメッセンジャーバックは、実は、自転車にイライラする車を運転するドライバーの方達にメッセージを伝えることができるバックです。
CHI VA PIANO VA SANO E VA LONTANO （ゆっくり行く人が元気に遠くまで行ける）という有名なイタリア語のフレーズが英語とイタリア語で書いてあります。
イタリアでは、実際の道路にこの諺が標識として書かれてあるそうです。
Star…
2011… Energy, electric, nuclear…we heard many words about these subjects that are human made.
In Malawi many nights are without electric.
It becomes a habit to leave a match next to the candles, but one night I stop turning on the candle.
I look up at the sky through the dark and find many stars lighting up the night and creating a natural light.
The next day I draw a design called “African Star” and make a small sachet for wishing a peaceful night throughout the world.
エネルギー、電気、原発。 人口で作り出したエネルギーの言葉をよく耳にした年でしたね。
マラウイではよく止まる電気。
キャンドルのそばにすぐマッチを置く癖もつきました。
キャンドルをつける手をとめて・・・
見上げれば、たくさんの光の星。 自然の光って本当にすごいな～と思った夜・・・
この優しい光がみんなをいつまでも優しく包み込んでくれますように・・・と思いながらデザインしました。

I could hold a meaningful PIANOPIANO duet during the open house.
For two days, my heart had been full of happiness because I could introduce the project to my favourite people in my favourite place.
Thank you so much to everyone who came to our event.
One of my yoga friends, Emma, is a pianist and kindly brought the score of ‘DOLLY for Piano, Four Hands’ during the event…so Emma and I played piano together.
In the PIANOPIANO event, two people were playing Piano. It’s wonderful coincidence! I enjoyed this happy occasion.
Next time I want the African drums to join in with Four Hands! Anybody want to volunteer?

PIANOPIANOのOPEN HOUSEを 開きました。 来て頂いた皆様ありがとうございました。
私の大好きな土地で出会った大切な人達のいくつかのプロジェクトを、ロンドンで紹介することができた、それはそれは幸せな ２日間でした。
イベント中 PIANISTでもあり、ヨガを一緒に練習しているEMMAが DOLLY の FOR PIANO FOUR HANDS (4つの手のためのピアノ集）という楽譜をもってきてくれ、イベント中 二人でPIANOを弾く楽しいハプニングもありました。
PIANOPIANOのイベントに、二人で弾くPIANO＋PIANO・・・・この偶然性にまたまた心がほんわかなりました。
次回はPIANOに、アフリカンドラムが入ったら、またまた楽しそう。
